At Adding Arrows Birth Support, my goal is to help families feel prepared, informed, and confident as they approach the birthing process. Every birth journey is unique, which is why my support is tailored to each family's individual needs, preferences, and goals.
During our prenatal sessions, we work together to create a set of birth goals and discuss practical ways to support and achieve them. We also spend time learning about the physical and emotional changes that occur throughout pregnancy, labor, and early postpartum, so you can approach birth with knowledge, confidence, and realistic expectations.
My desire is for every client to feel empowered, supported, and ready to navigate their own unique path into parenthood.

Birth Support
A core part of my philosophy is that birth is never one-size-fits-all. Every family enters the birth space with unique hopes, values, and goals, and everyone finds joy in different ways. My role as a doula is to support and guide my clients in creating a birth experience that feels empowering, meaningful, and joyful to them.
Beginning at 38 weeks, I am on call and ready to provide support whenever labor begins. Once labor starts, I offer continuous hands-on guidance, comfort measures, and natural pain management techniques to help families feel confident and supported throughout the process. I also help families recognize labor progression, determine when it is time to travel to their birth location, and know when to contact their midwife or care provider.
As your doula, I remain by your side throughout labor and birth, providing physical, emotional, and informational support every step of the way. After your baby arrives, I stay for 1–2 hours to assist with immediate postpartum recovery, newborn care, and breastfeeding support, helping your family begin this new chapter with confidence and care.

Postpartum Support
Welcoming a new baby is a beautiful transition, and I love helping families adjust to life with their newest addition. One of my greatest passions as a postpartum doula is ensuring that new mothers have the opportunity to rest, recover, and heal while feeling confident that their baby is receiving loving care.
During overnight support, my goal is to help parents get the restorative sleep they need. If breastfeeding, Mom only needs to wake to feed baby before returning to sleep. I handle the diaper changes, soothing, cuddles, and newborn care throughout the night, allowing both parents to enjoy a more restful evening.
In addition to newborn care, I provide light household support such as washing bottles and pump parts, folding baby laundry, tidying common areas, and helping with other small tasks that can quickly pile up during the newborn stage. My goal is for parents to wake up feeling refreshed, supported, and able to focus on what matters most: loving and bonding with their baby.
